By using our online store, you accept and agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement. In the same way, when using these particular services, you will be subject to any corresponding rules or guidelines for use that have been published for those mentioned services. Any participation in this service will constitute acceptance of this agreement. Please read these terms of use carefully, if you do not agree, please close this site.
Online Store
When buying in the online store (https://www.nomadcook.org/store), you acknowledge that the services are only provided in Mexican territory. For more info on Mexican regulations, please visit the Privacy Policy.
Some products like physical prints are only available in certain territories, currently in United States of America and Mexico. We sell you the service to print the images with a provider in the US. We will do our best effort in your interest of receiving high-quality printed photo or photos. However, because the providers are outside of Mexican jurisdiction, we cannot guarantee they will provide the service correctly. We have worked with them for months and their service has worked correctly without any fail, but we cannot guarantee it will be like that in the future. Once you purchase a photo print in our store, we’ll disclose the details of the printing provider with you. Nothing of this counts as legal representation.
Because of the nature of the workflow described in the previous paragraph, all the purchases in printing services are final.
Digital downloads. We do not offer digital downloads by the time these terms of use are being updated. If we offer them in the future, this section will be updated.
Intellectual Property
The website and its original content (including photographs and images), characteristics and functionality are the property of Luis Hernández Guzmán (unless indicated otherwise) and are protected by international copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property or property rights laws.
The content of Luna, a Food and Love Story, is not protected by copyright. However, it is published under a Creative Commons license, detailed in the e-book and on the corresponding page.
Cooking Classes
Reservation of cooking classes. If you book a cooking class, you can cancel and request a 100% refund if it is before 72 hours before the class starts. If you cancel less than 72 hours before the class, you can request a partial refund of 50% of the price paid. The cooking classes take place in our local facility. If you want a class held outside of it, you’ll need to request it directly through our contact form and we will provide a personalized quote.
Payment Methods
At the moment we only accept Paypal as a payment method. When you leave this website to pay in their platform, you stick to their own terms and conditions to make the payment. If we do accept credit cards again, we will update it in this page.
Shipping
For local physical shipments, we will use the most convenient and secure private parcel service at our discretion. The responsibility for handling the packages will be entirely the responsibility of these companies. If there is any problem with them, we will make every effort on our side to make clarifications and claims on behalf of our clients. This does not count as legal representation.
Invoicing
All prices include IVA (Sales tax in Mexican jurisdiction) and we have to declare it and pay it forward to the Mexican tax authorities. If you require a CFDI (digital invoice) with your tax information, we will ask you at the time of placing your order so that you provide us with your information in order to prepare it and send it to you digitally. This only applies to Mexican customers or residents registered in the local tax department (SAT). If you require a sales ticket, you’ll be asked upon booking a service or buying a product.
Updates to Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these conditions when we consider it appropriate. Permanent use of the page will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to such terms. If there are any changes to our terms and conditions, we will update the modification date on it. If there are any changes to our page regarding the way we use our customers’ personally identifiable information, we will send an email notification to those who are affected by the change.
